What is The Moonshot Club?

The Moonshot Club is an experimental community art project weaving together invisible threads, connecting you and I to the versions of ourselves we’re pushing towards because shooting for  the moon doesn’t have to be lonely. Everyone is invited to The Moonshot Club, but official members will receive special messages like reminders on how the Moonshot Cycle works and opportunities to celebrate the intentional changes we are making happen in our lives slowly, slowly.

The Moonshot Club right now* is an inner circle of all my different friend groups from creatives, techies, scientists, future policymakers, businesspeople, and lots of do-gooders.

What is a Moonshot Cycle?

A Moonshot Cycle is a 56-day structure designed for the dreamers and doers that want to make intentional changes happen in their life. Little moonshots every 56 days. The 56-day Moonshot Cycle pulls from concepts like Google’s OKRs methodology and aligns with our shared lunar cycle to create a structure of accountability, connection, results, and quality along with rest, play, exploration, and celebration.

How does the Moonshot Cycle work?

Basically, you have 2 weeks of ideation, exploration, and straight-up playing. Then you have approximately 1 month to try things out, try executing, try failing, or try anything. Finally, we end with roughly two weeks to reflect, rest, celebrate, and/or wrap up loose ends.

FEAST FELLOWS

FEAST FELLOWS is a project by Louella Aquino and a multi-disciplinary artist fellowship program that fosters collaboration & the exchange of ideas by providing an environment for artists across disciplines to live and work side by side. FEAST FELLOWS is uniquely curated to bring together a diverse group of artists to facilitate exchange of different expertise, histories, techniques and perspectives.  With a focus on conservation of natural resources, integration of small-scale organic food production and the arts, Fellows sustain their growth by cultivating and participating in the surrounding land, working on their artistic vision and forging partnerships within the community. FEAST FELLOWS is founded on the belief that the act of creating, whether in the studio or in nature, is how human potential expands and community thrives.

FEAST FELLOWS provides island living and studio space to artists, researchers, farmers, writers and scientists in an environment that is conducive to creatively working on new ideas, exploring the region’s food-scape, and developing the projects or ideas without distraction.  This program is designed to assist creatives during an integral stage of their career; reconnect them with nature and the farm, to infuse a mid-career turning point with new energy and fresh perspective, or as an accomplished farmer or landworker in need of sabbatical.

Farmers, Artists, Researchers, Writers, and Scientists may apply for a farm studio visit for one week and up to four months.
